Program Goals:
The primary incentive of this program is the opportunity to explore a career opportunity in the sports management industry with hands-on experience prior to graduation.
Job Summary:
As a PSM intern you will be reporting directly to the Senior Partner who will also serve as a mentor. We are looking for sophomores, juniors, seniors, and recent graduates who have an entrepreneurial spirit, highly motivated, and can juggle multiple tasks in a fast paced atmosphere.
Responsibilities depend upon current projects and individual qualifications and can include assisting in the marketing and promotion of company sponsored events from assisting in athletic training camps. Typical responsibilities include participation in preparing press releases, assisting in general press coverage, advertising, sponsorship materials, distributing publicity materials, handling special promotions, and much more.

Preferred Computer Skills
- Macintosh OS
- Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, Publisher
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Quark Express or experience in designing website content
- Assist the Art Director and Graphic Designers in advertisement design, editorial layout, brochure design, etc.
Compensation:
Although this internship is unpaid, we will work with the student and his/her school to assist the individual in receiving college credit. A stipend, or reimbursement for expenses incurred on the student’s behalf may also be considered. PSM interns are expected to work a minimum of 10 hours per week. The days and times are based on student availability, company needs, and will be determined prior to the internship start date. Three internships are available per year (Fall, Spring, and Summer).
